Songs from your past are the most important ones, they can evoke all kinds of feelings and memories, good ones, sad ones, and ones guaranteed to put a big smile on your face. This is specially true of those 'Golden Oldies' of the 50's and 60's, so woe betide anyone daring to attempt a cover version, unless that is, they have a very good reason, rest assured that seasoned professional Steve Taylor has got one very good reason.  These songs you see mean so much to Steve too, and they have become a stimulating chunk of his musical past. So no way would you ever see him treat such classics with any contempt. On the contrary, Steve has been working on this particular collection of songs for some time, making each track his own, but still maintaining the dynamic of the songs.  This is a superb collection, familiar in many ways, but gloriously original in many others. Steve always delivers, be it as a writer, as a singer or as a producer, there's no doubt that this CD is well worthy of the title "Sensational" in oh so many ways.
